Research on Community Identification and Community Evolution on the Web 2.0
Because of the popularity of the Internet services and the Web 2.0 applications, the ubiquity of diverse communities on the Internet is becoming an important social phenomenon. In order to improve the personalized or socialized services, it can be useful to analyze the hidden and dynamic communities on the Internet.
We are trying to explore a kind of multi-dimensional model to detect the hidden community structure on the Web 2.0 platform. Further, we will analyze the dynamic characteristics of the Internet community. The fundamental goal of this research is to understand the function and evolution of the community structure in the Web 2.0 online systems, so as to improve the efficiency of the Web 2.0 services.
